This was the original concept for a splash animation for the cogniVision site when I began the rework.  It would lead into the satellite-type navigation menu, which was originally implemented as a huge Java applet with image mapping.  The applets took so long to load that it just ruined the experience.  I have since re-implemented the navigation in Flash with incredibly better results.
