Dino Master Quest
Dino Master Training - Field Notes
|
 |
In
its existing, evergreen, state, the "Dino Master Quest, Dino
Master Training" unit is represented as a Journal of the original
Dino Master Quest adventure. In a former version it had been labled
"Field Notes."
The
original promotion was a broadly marketed, and sponsor- partnered
contest comprising of a 10 day sequential trek through the world
of Dinosaurs. Each day's adventure comprised of two animated,
interactive Flash segments, each ending with a multiple choice question.
Each correctly answered question was rewarded with a fossil
rock which was brought ahead in time to the professors' lab, to
be opened by the wacky professor, to reveal two pieces of the puzzle.
When complete, the puzzle would reveal a hidden dinosaur and
gain entrance to the contest.
Dino

IBM Game Kiosk
|
 |
The
Read In is an annual road show event promoting reading in towns
across the country. IBM donated a giant computer shaped structure
that housed numerous game kiosks. Each kiosk was a dynamic environment
offering games and also dynamically advertised a newly developed
educational site, Find it Quick.com. After 30 seconds the ad banners
kick in... sit back and check it out.. it drives itself or jump
right in and play some games.

Monster Hunters Guide
The Monster Files
The
Monster Hunter Files is a dynamic interactive activity that
incorporates online adventure, discovery and crafts. All the
fun characters of this newly developed series are introduced
online and supported with a unigue construction activity that
lets them take their web experience into the real world. Kids
spend hours searching for clues and maintaining their Monster
Files that they print, cut out and assemble. There is a Monster
file box to print out and assemble to hold all the files and
clues. I developed over 25 printable pages in addition to
the online pages in support of this promotion.
